oSTEM is a nonprofit professional association for LGBTQ+ people in the STEM community. With oSTEM is the largest chapter-based organization focused on LGBTQ+ people in STEM. oSTEM envision a world where LGBTQ+ people in the STEM community are empowered to achieve success in a safe and supportive environment that celebrates their diversity and unique contributions. Application Requirements
- Students attending community college, undergraduate, or graduate institutions are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must be pursuing a degree in a STEM field.
- Applicants must have completed at least one semester of higher education.
- The institution must be based in the USA
- Applicants must identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community
- Applicants must be able to be recognized as an awardee at the annual oSTEM Conference.
Note: GPA is NOT a requirement or a criterion.

Out to Innovate™
Formerly known as National Organization of Gay and Lesbian Scientists and Technical Professionals (NOGLSTP). Out to Innovate™ is a professional society and global community of LGBTQ+ students and professionals in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Out to Innovate™ empower LGBTQ+ individuals in STEM by providing education, advocacy, professional development, networking, and peer support. Join Out to Innovate™.

Application requirements
- Successful completion of a minimum of two years of post-high school education at an accredited U.S. college or university
- Minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4-point scale.
- A declared major in an accredited STEM or STEM-related teaching field. STEM is Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
- Identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community.
- Be an active supporter of and participant in programs or organizations that promote LGBTQ+ inclusion and visibility.
- Students must be eligible for fall term registration at an accredited U.S. college or university and must not be under disciplinary sanction.

Each AISES Scholarship has its own eligibility requirements regarding GPA, majors, and academic status. However, at a minimum, all scholarships require that the Applicants be a current AISES member at the time of application.

SASE is dedicated to the advancement of Asian heritage scientists and engineers in education and employment to achieve their full career potential.
