Every time I attend a conference I like to make a bucket list of things I want to accomplish while I’m there. I might not check them all off, but it’s nice to have a plan of action and not go in blind.
My WE19 Bucketlist:

My WE19 Bucketlist:
- Meet another grad student or faculty member who is in my field.
- Go to the career fair.
- Attend at least 3 talks given by graduate students!
- Hang out with an undergrad from my section and get to know them better.
- Meet graduate students from at least 3 other schools.
- Make new luggage tags. (If you haven’t been, this is a WE tradition. I hope they still have the booth this year!)
- Go to one talk on a subject I know nothing about.
- Exchange contact information with new people.
- Go sightseeing!
